Jim Corbett tour packages from Bangalore are domestic holiday itineraries that take you from Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) to Corbett Tiger Reserve in Uttarakhand, with stays, transfers and safari slots around Ramnagar. Flights are usually priced separately, and the land portion is the part a package actually covers.
Count the journey in nights, not hours. Plan three to four nights out of a working week, which covers a travel day each way plus two full days inside the reserve. Winter, from December to February, gives the highest tiger-sighting rates, though demand and prices peak then. Summer and monsoon trips are cheaper but come with heat or heavy rain that can close core zones.
Bangalore is the inland hub of the south, so most trips begin with a flight north rather than a short hop. Families from Whitefield, Koramangala and Electronic City often plan a long weekend around a fixed leave date, so the timing of the journey matters as much as the safari itself.

Most Bangalore travellers need three to four nights for a comfortable Corbett trip. Two nights is possible but leaves only one full safari day once the journey from BLR is counted in. The table shows what each length covers.
| Trip length | What it covers | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|
| 2 nights | One travel day from Bangalore, one full safari day, one return travel day | Travellers with a long weekend and a fixed date |
| 3 nights | Two safari slots, one buffer afternoon, a relaxed transfer from Delhi or Dehradun | First-time visitors who want a proper Corbett experience |
| 4 nights | Three safari slots, Dhikala or buffer zone access, time to rest between drives | Photographers and families who prefer a slower pace |
The first and last nights are partly used up by travel from Bangalore. If you want two clear safari mornings, book three nights at minimum. A fourth night is worth adding if you are travelling with children or elderly parents, since the road from Delhi to Ramnagar is long and tiring on arrival.
Many people underestimate the return leg. Allow a full day after your last safari to get back to Delhi and onward to Bangalore, so your office return is not the same evening as your final drive.
There is no airport at Jim Corbett itself. Bangalore travellers fly to Delhi or Dehradun, then continue by road or rail to Ramnagar. Pantnagar is the closest domestic airport, but connections from BLR to it are limited, so check current schedules for direct versus connecting options.
By air, fly from Kempegowda International Airport to Delhi, then drive to Ramnagar through Hapur, Moradabad and Kashipur. This is the fastest route for a three-night trip. By rail, Ramnagar is the nearest railway station and connects through Delhi via Moradabad and Kashipur. Overnight trains save a hotel night but add fatigue. By road, the drive from Delhi is a full day, and from Bangalore a road-only route is not practical.
Your mode of travel changes the first and last day. A morning flight from BLR gets you to Ramnagar by evening. A late flight means an overnight in Delhi. For the return, an afternoon departure from Delhi leaves a relaxed morning transfer out of Corbett.
Ramnagar is about 12 km from the park, and the Dhikala access gate is about 18 km from Ramnagar, with the Dhikala lodge a further drive inside the forest. Ask your operator how long the last leg will take on the day you travel, because that stretch is where most delays happen.
Land-only packages start at Rs.8,500 per person, indicatively, and cover stays and safari assistance on the ground. Flights from Bangalore are priced separately and change by date, so confirm at booking. Ask for a written inclusion list before you pay.
Your total depends on season, hotel category and safari zone. Winter weekends and holiday periods push prices up. Buffer zone safaris can cost less than core zone permits. Count the flight, the land package and your meals separately so you can compare options fairly. For a broader look at what is available, see Jim Corbett tour packages.
Take a morning flight from BLR to Delhi, drive to Ramnagar the same day, and check in by evening. Spend the next two nights near the Dhikala gate with one afternoon safari and one full-day safari. On the last morning, drive back to Delhi for an evening flight to Bangalore. This keeps the first and last days productive without rushing.
With a fourth night, add a buffer-zone drive or a visit to the Corbett Museum in Kaladhungi. That spare day also gives you a cushion if monsoon rain disrupts a drive, because roads can wash out and core zones can close during the monsoon period.

FriendsThree friends and I did a 9-night Australia package with stops in Melbourne and Sydney. We spent an afternoon at the Melbourne Cricket Ground and caught a local match. Tripstor sorted our group visa applications together which saved a lot of back and forth. Good experience overall.
FamilyBooked a family package for 7 nights covering Port Blair, Havelock, and Neil. The Cellular Jail light and sound show on Day 1 set a good tone for the trip. Kids were engaged throughout and the itinerary was not too rushed.
HoneymoonHoneymooned in Kashmir for 7 nights in May. Gulmarg had light snow still and we got a gondola ride on Day 4. The tulip garden in Srinagar was in full bloom. Tripstor arranged a candlelit dinner on the houseboat which was a nice touch.
