Package overview
The thinking behind this journey.
A closer look at this 7-night journey through Spain— who it's built for, what you'll experience, and why the pace works.
Journey notes
Why this route works
What does a Spain honeymoon tour package from India include?
This package covers 7 nights in standard 3-4 star hotels, daily breakfast, the Barcelona-to-Seville transfer, airport pick-up and guided entries to Sagrada Família, Park Güell and the Seville Alcázar. Flights, visa fees and tourist taxes are not part of the Rs.72,000 per person price.
The route has only one city change. You spend four nights in Barcelona and three in Seville, so you unpack twice, not four times. Madrid is left out on purpose, which keeps the pace slow enough for late breakfasts and unplanned afternoons.
Moments to plan around
The best moments on this route are the ones you time, not the ones you queue for. Four stand out, and each has a day where it fits best.
- First morning at Sagrada Família (Day 2): the timed morning slot has softer light through the stained glass and thinner crowds than midday.
- Sunset over Barcelona (Day 3): after Park Güell, a hillside viewpoint such as Bunkers del Carmel works well. Carry a light jacket, as it turns breezy after dark.
- Santa Cruz at night (Day 4): on arrival in Seville, the narrow lanes near the cathedral are quiet and lit, with orange trees along the walls.
- A table for two on the last night (Day 7): a rooftop or riverside dinner in Seville closes the trip. Confirm the booking when you reserve the package.
Why this route suits couples
This route suits couples because it gives you two compact, walkable cities with no early starts after Day 2. Barcelona's Eixample and El Born and Seville's Santa Cruz keep restaurants, squares and monuments within a short walk of your hotel.
Gaudí's Park Güell and the Alcázar's gardens are among the quieter corners in each city, especially at opening time. Seville also has shaded lanes, so afternoon walks stay manageable. Nothing here is a coach tour; transfers are private and the free blocks are real.
Romantic highlights on this route
Six experiences give the trip its character, each with a detail worth knowing before you go.
- Sagrada Família timed entry: pre-booked slots avoid the queue on the street.
- Park Güell mosaic terrace: best early, before tour groups fill the benches.
- Barcelona sunset viewpoint: a free, unhurried hour on Day 3 before dinner in El Born.
- Seville Alcázar gardens: a guided entry, followed by time on your own in the courtyards.
- Giralda tower climb: a ramp, not stairs, so the walk up is gentle and the city view is wide.
- Evening horse-carriage ride in Seville: an optional add-on through the old town, best after sunset.
How the days flow
The days are paced with one fixed activity a day, usually in the morning, and the rest left open. Day 2 and Day 3 have guided Gaudí visits; Day 4 is mostly a train day; Day 5 is the Alcázar and cathedral; Days 6 and 7 are largely free.
Spanish dinners start late, often after 8:30 pm, so afternoons are meant for rest or a long lunch. If you want a lazy morning, tell us and we will move the guided entry to the next available slot.
Choosing the right stay style
For couples, location matters more than hotel stars. In Barcelona, Eixample is central with metro access and Modernista buildings, while El Born and the Gothic Quarter are near the waterfront but can be noisy at night. Ask for an interior-facing or higher-floor room if you sleep lightly.
In Seville, Santa Cruz sits next to the cathedral and Alcázar, with narrow lanes and orange trees. This package uses standard 3-4 star hotels. Request a quiet room and a late checkout when you book, and we will pass it to the hotel.
Best months for a couple's Spain trip from India
March to May and September to October are the best months, with mild days and moderate crowds. Barcelona reaches about 15-22°C in April and 15-27°C in May, and September stays warm without the summer peak.
| Month | Temperature range | Crowds and prices | Fit for this route |
|---|---|---|---|
| March-May | 8-27°C | Medium | Best for walking both cities |
| June-August | 25-42°C | High, peak prices | Hot; Seville and inland can pass 40°C |
| September-October | 14-28°C | Medium | Warm and easier on the budget |
| November-February | 0-20°C | Low, lower prices | Cool; carry layers, fewer beach days |
Weather and crowd data are general seasonal ranges for Spain as of 2026; confirm closer to your dates.
Add-ons worth considering
Add-ons are optional and priced separately, so confirm each at booking. These four fit the route best.
- Couple spa session: fits the free afternoon on Day 3 in Barcelona or Day 7 in Seville.
- Private dinner: a table for two on Day 7, or a rooftop dinner in Barcelona.
- Photographer: a short shoot in Santa Cruz at golden hour on Day 5 or 6.
- Flamenco evening: an optional show in Seville on Day 6, usually a late-evening slot.
Where you will sleep in Barcelona and Seville
This package is priced on standard 3-4 star hotels in central Barcelona and Seville, on twin sharing. Rooms are comfortable and well located, not resort-style, which is why the cost stays at Rs.72,000 per person.
Indicative stay tiers, per person, for context:
| Stay tier | Indicative price per person | What changes |
|---|---|---|
| Budget 3-star | approx Rs.54,000 | Simpler rooms, location still central where available |
| Standard 4-star (this package) | Rs.72,000 | Central hotels in Eixample or El Born, and Santa Cruz |
| Premium 5-star | approx Rs.1,15,000 | Larger rooms, better views, hotel dining and spa access |
Barcelona also charges a city tourist tax per person per night, which is paid at the hotel and is not included here. Confirm the current amount at booking.
Spain entry, money and flights for Indian travellers
Indian passport holders need a Schengen visa for Spain, applied for through the official Spanish visa application route; check the official portal for the current fee. Our Spain visa for Indians guide lists the documents. The local currency is the euro; we do not quote an exchange rate, so check one before you travel.
Flights from India are usually one-stop. As of October 2026, a Singapore routing to Barcelona–El Prat runs about 17.7 to 19.2 hours from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Kochi. Fares are not part of this package, so confirm at booking. More routes are on our Spain tour packages page.
What to budget beyond the package price
The Rs.72,000 per person covers land arrangements only, so for two people the package cost is double that figure before flights, visa fees, travel insurance, lunches, dinners and tourist tax. Hotel category, travel month and add-ons move the final figure most; confirm current prices at booking.
Peak months from June to August carry higher hotel rates, and a 5-star upgrade raises the cost materially. Ask us for a dated quote and we will itemise what is and is not covered.
Tell us your travel dates and anything you want planned as a surprise, and we will shape this route around the two of you.

CoupleNorway is expensive but the experience is worth planning for. We did the Flam Railway and the Sognefjord on Day 5. Tripstor gave us a realistic budget breakdown before we booked, which I appreciated. No surprises on the ground.
FriendsThree friends and I did a 9-night Australia package with stops in Melbourne and Sydney. We spent an afternoon at the Melbourne Cricket Ground and caught a local match. Tripstor sorted our group visa applications together which saved a lot of back and forth. Good experience overall.
FamilyBooked a family package for 7 nights covering Port Blair, Havelock, and Neil. The Cellular Jail light and sound show on Day 1 set a good tone for the trip. Kids were engaged throughout and the itinerary was not too rushed.
