Why this route works
Why does this itinerary fit travellers from India?
The 6N/7D Italy Family Package suits Indian families because it covers Rome, Florence, and Venice in a structured seven-day format. The pace allows guided sightseeing without rushing, and Tripstor adjusts departures from seven Indian cities including Mumbai and Delhi.
Indian families travelling internationally typically need a clear day-by-day structure with pre-arranged transfers and guided entry to major sites. This package provides that structure across Italy's three most visited cities. Rome is Italy's capital city, with a metropolitan population of approximately 4.3 million, and serves as the first stop on the highlights route. Florence is the capital of Tuscany, known for Renaissance art and architecture, and forms the mid-point of the itinerary. Venice is a city built across 118 small islands in northeastern Italy and completes the route. Tripstor departs this package from Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, and Kolkata, with itinerary adjustments available on request.
What experiences does this package include?
The 6N/7D Italy Family Package includes guided visits to Rome's historic sites, Florence's art galleries, and Venice's canals. Families get structured sightseeing across all three cities, with transfers and mid-range to superior category hotel stays included across six nights.
The package covers Italy's most recognised family-friendly attractions across the Rome–Florence–Venice route. Each city offers distinct experiences suited to families travelling with children. The itinerary balances walking tours, cultural visits, and leisure time at a pace appropriate for mixed-age groups.
- Guided tour of the Colosseum in Rome, an ancient amphitheatre completed in 80 AD and one of Italy's most visited landmarks.
- Visit to Vatican City, an independent city-state within Rome, including St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museums.
- Sightseeing at the Trevi Fountain in Rome, an 18th-century Baroque fountain located at the junction of three roads.
- Guided visit to the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, a Renaissance art museum housing works by Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, and Michelangelo.

What should you know before booking?
Before booking the 6N/7D Italy Family Package, Indian families need a Schengen visa, valid passports, and travel insurance. The package starts from ₹118,000 per person. Flights, visa fees, and personal expenses are typically not included in the base price.
The Schengen visa is a short-stay visa permitting entry into 27 European countries, including Italy, for up to 90 days. Indian passport holders must apply for a Schengen visa at the Italian consulate or authorised visa application centre in their city. Processing time is typically 15 to 20 working days from the date of application.
Passport validity must be at least six months beyond the travel return date. Each family member, including children, requires a separate visa application. Parents travelling with minor children should carry original birth certificates and a notarised consent letter if one parent is absent.
The base price of ₹118,000 per person covers accommodation for six nights, guided sightseeing, and inter-city transfers within Italy. International flights from Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, or Kolkata are not included in this base price. Tripstor can add flights to the package on request, and the total cost will vary by departure city and travel dates.
Travel insurance covering medical emergencies and trip cancellations is mandatory for Schengen visa applications. Families should carry euro in cash for small purchases, tips, and entry fees not covered by the package. Italy uses the euro, and ATMs are widely available in Rome, Florence, and Venice.
The best time to travel on the 6N/7D Italy Family Package is from April to June and September to October, when temperatures are moderate and crowds are manageable. July and August are peak summer months with higher hotel rates and longer queues at major sites. Booking at least three months in advance is advisable for peak season travel.
