Package overview
The thinking behind this journey.
A closer look at this 5-night journey through Dubai— who it's built for, what you'll experience, and why the pace works.
Journey notes
Why this route works
What does this Dubai luxury tour package include?
Five nights in a 5-star category hotel, daily breakfast, private airport transfers and one signature experience each day form the core of this package. The route divides between two areas: Downtown Dubai for the first four nights, close to Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall, then Dubai Marina for the fifth night before departure. Cross-city drives between these areas take roughly 20 to 30 minutes outside peak traffic periods.
Each day has one confirmed activity and open time around it. That structure is deliberate — a solo traveller on a premium trip should not spend every hour in transit or queuing.
Who is this solo retreat for?
This trip works best for solo Indian travellers who want a private, unhurried Dubai stay rather than a group tour or a packed sightseeing schedule. You get a private car and driver for all listed transfers, a guide on the Burj Khalifa visit and a hotel that gives you a consistent base rather than moving every night.
It is not suited to travellers looking for the lowest per-night rate or those who want to cover every Dubai attraction in six days. The pace is slower by design.
Best time to visit Dubai from India
November to March is the recommended travel window for Indian visitors, with temperatures between 18°C and 31°C and the highest concentration of outdoor evening events. April, May and October are warmer — highs reach into the low-to-mid thirties — but crowds thin and rates ease. June through September sees temperatures climb well above 39°C; outdoor plans during those months work only early morning or after sunset.
Where the Dubai trip cost goes
The Rs.65,000 land price reflects three main cost drivers: hotel category, transfer type and pre-booked experience access. A 5-star room in Downtown Dubai or Dubai Marina costs significantly more per night than a 3-star or 4-star equivalent. Private airport and sightseeing transfers add to the base, as does pre-booked Burj Khalifa observation deck access, which sells out on peak evenings.
Hotel bills in Dubai typically carry additional charges not included in the land price. As of 2026, the Tourism Dirham is levied per room per night at a rate that varies by hotel star rating — confirm the current amount directly with the property. Hotel bills also usually include a service charge and municipality tax, both settled directly at the hotel.
Stay options and indicative price tiers
Three hotel categories are available for this 5-night Dubai solo itinerary. All figures are indicative and subject to season and availability; confirm the exact rate at booking.
| Hotel Category | Area | Indicative Price (per person, land only) |
|---|---|---|
| 3-star (budget) | Deira or Bur Dubai | Approx Rs.49,000 |
| 4-star (standard) | Downtown Dubai or Business Bay | Rs.65,000 (this package default) |
| 5-star (premium) | Palm Jumeirah or Jumeirah | Approx Rs.1,04,000 |
The default package places you in a 4-star or upper-tier property in Downtown Dubai for nights 1–4 and Dubai Marina for night 5. Upgrading to Palm Jumeirah puts you in a resort-focused island area with direct beach access, which suits travellers who want to spend more time at the property itself.
Where the extra spend shows
Three differences are immediately noticeable when you move up from a standard Dubai package. First, the room size and floor level — a higher category room in Downtown Dubai typically offers more space and a city or fountain view. Second, private transfers mean no waiting for a shared shuttle or coordinating with other guests. Third, pre-booked Burj Khalifa access with a guide removes the queuing and the guesswork about which viewing level to choose.
What premium means on this trip
Premium on this itinerary is about fewer decisions per day, not more activities. The hotel is in a location that reduces daily travel. Transfers are private, so timing is yours. Each day has one confirmed experience and open time around it — the afternoon on Day 3, for example, is deliberately free for the spa or pool rather than filled with a second attraction.
The dhow cruise on Day 5 is a dinner cruise on Dubai Marina, not a shared sightseeing boat. The desert camp on Day 4 includes a private transfer to and from the camp.
Signature experiences on this itinerary
- Burj Khalifa observation deck, Day 2: Timed entry with a guide; the upper observation level gives a direct view over Downtown Dubai and the Dubai Fountain below.
- Dubai Marina dhow cruise, Day 5: A traditional wooden dhow with dinner on board, moving along the Marina canal past the waterfront towers after dark.
- Desert camp dinner, Day 4: An evening at a desert camp outside the city, with dune views, live entertainment and a set dinner; private transfer included.
- Museum of the Future, Day 3: A pre-booked morning slot at this Downtown Dubai attraction, which requires advance reservation in peak season.
- Dubai Fountain and Souk Al Bahar, Day 2: The fountain show runs on a fixed schedule from the Dubai Mall promenade; Souk Al Bahar is a short walk from the Burj Khalifa base.
- Hotel spa session, Day 3: One included wellness session at the hotel; the specific treatment and slot are confirmed at booking.
Stay and service standards
Nights 1 to 4 are in a 5-star category property in Downtown Dubai, within walking distance of Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall. Night 5 moves to a 5-star property in Dubai Marina, close to the Marina promenade and the dhow cruise departure point. Both properties operate 24-hour front desk, in-room dining and a fitness centre as standard at this category.
No specific hotel names are confirmed until booking, as availability and rates vary by travel date. The area and category are fixed; the exact property is confirmed when you lock in your dates.
Wellness and free time
One spa or wellness session is included in the package, with the treatment type and slot confirmed at booking. Most 5-star Dubai hotels at this category run a full-service spa with massage, body treatments and a steam or sauna facility. Yoga sessions are available at select properties, typically in the morning; ask at check-in for the schedule.
Days 3 and 4 have open afternoon blocks. These are not filled by design — use them for the pool, a spa add-on at your own cost, or simply rest. Dubai's indoor facilities are fully air-conditioned, so the time of year does not limit how you use the hotel.
Dubai entry, money and flights for Indian travellers
Indian passport holders require a UAE visa before travel. The visa is applied for online through the official UAE government portal or through a registered travel agent; check the official portal for the current fee and processing time, as these change. The local currency is the UAE Dirham (AED); confirm the exchange rate at the time of transfer, as rates vary by provider.
Direct flights from Delhi to Dubai take approximately 3.5 hours. Flights from Bengaluru operate on selected days and take approximately 4 hours. Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune and Ahmedabad also have direct or one-stop connections to Dubai International Airport (DXB). The Red Line metro from DXB reaches Downtown Dubai directly; a taxi from DXB to Downtown takes about 20 to 30 minutes outside peak periods. Domestic Indian flight connections are not included in the land price.
Dubai travel tips for Indian travellers
- Pick up a nol card at any Metro station on arrival — confirm current prices at the station; it works on the Metro, tram, buses and marine transport.
- Metro fares are zone-based; confirm current fares at the station or on the RTA website before travel.
- Book Burj Khalifa and the dhow cruise well before you fly — evening slots in peak season (November to March) sell out days in advance.
- Carry a light layer for Dubai Mall, the Metro and hotel lobbies, which are heavily air-conditioned regardless of the outdoor temperature.
- Tourism Dirham and hotel taxes are paid directly at the property and are not part of the land package price.

CoupleNorway is expensive but the experience is worth planning for. We did the Flam Railway and the Sognefjord on Day 5. Tripstor gave us a realistic budget breakdown before we booked, which I appreciated. No surprises on the ground.
FamilyTravelled with my parents who are in their late 50s. Tripstor recommended two full acclimatization days in Leh before any high-altitude drives and that made a real difference. Tso Moriri was quieter than Pangong and honestly more worth the drive.
FamilyBooked a family package for 7 nights covering Port Blair, Havelock, and Neil. The Cellular Jail light and sound show on Day 1 set a good tone for the trip. Kids were engaged throughout and the itinerary was not too rushed.
